The Professional Taekwondo Federation will host its 2026 Hall of Fame Awards & Gala on November 28 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, marking the first such event held in the country at the five-star Novotel.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia – The Professional Taekwondo Federation (PTF) has officially announced that it will host the 2026 Hall of Fame Awards & Gala on Friday, November 28, 2026, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, at the five-star Novotel Phnom Penh BKK1—marking the first Hall of Fame Gala of its kind to be held in Cambodia.
This exclusive, invitation-only event will gather elite figures from across the world—Grand Masters, world champions, executives, and industry leaders—for a celebration of legacy, excellence, and the continued evolution of Taekwondo.
The announcement builds on momentum from the inaugural Hall of Fame Awards & Gala held in Baguio, Philippines, which drew global attention with attendance from Choi Jung Hwa, President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), and recognized masters worldwide. That event established the Hall of Fame as a unifying platform across all branches of Taekwondo.
As part of an expanded international showcase, the Kombat Grand Prix & World Title Belt Bout will be held one day prior, providing Hall of Fame attendees exclusive VIP access to elite-level professional competition. Following the Gala, guests will have the opportunity to travel to Siem Reap and experience the UNESCO World Heritage site Angkor Wat.
Rick W. Shin, President of PTF, stated: "This is where the past, present, and future of Taekwondo come together. Cambodia will be a defining stage for the global martial arts community."
