Malaysia – February 15, 2026 – The first Kombat Taekwondo Championships in Malaysia were successfully held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, marking an important milestone in the continued international expansion of Kombat Taekwondo.
The closed tournament, organized by Kombat Taekwondo Malaysia, featured 33 promising young athletes between the ages of 10 and 15. As a minor league competition, the event provided a structured and professionally managed platform designed to give emerging athletes valuable competitive experience.
The competition was officiated by a dedicated team of five referees, led by the Referee Chairman of Malaysia. The officiating team ensured that all matches were conducted in strict accordance with established Kombat Taekwondo competition standards.
Athlete safety and welfare remained the highest priority. Comprehensive safety protocols were implemented and closely monitored, resulting in a successful event with no reported injuries.
The inaugural Kombat Taekwondo Malaysia Championship successfully achieved its primary objectives of delivering meaningful competitive exposure for young athletes while upholding high standards of safety, fairness, and organization.
